Warren, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a tier one supplier to the automotive industry. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Material Planner.
What you will do: The Material Planner is responsible for material planning (purchasing BOM raw materials) and scheduling the production floor. The role maintains the Excel MRP raw material schedule and maintains a min/max inventory level based on customer requirements, current inventory, and raw material lead-times. The position issues purchase orders/raw material releases in a timely manner and enters all releases into ERP system (Syteline). Additionally, the Material Planner performs Raw Material cycle counts and works with the operations team to maintain accurate raw and finished inventories.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree. Current experience in material planning and scheduling. Experience scheduling production. Manufacturing background.
