Minneapolis, Minnesota – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a national manufacturer looking to highlight candidates to fill their newly created Supply Chain Manager, south of Minneapolis.
What you will do: The Supply Chain Manager drives performance through the forecasting of stock inventory and flow, analyzes warehouse and customer specific inventories in order to ensure optimal performance at the lowest possible cost, and oversees safety program, working collaboratively with Human Resources Department. The role establishes production/manufacturing methods and measures to ensure high-quality production of product through efficient process utilization, while also directing the development and implementation of operating standards and goals in support of the company business plan. The position reviews/evaluates cost effectiveness, consistency, quality, accuracy and performance to standards and take action as necessary to correct discrepancies, ensures effective customer service relations by implementing processes to deliver quality products on time, and establishes the flow of information to evaluate operations performance and provide planning with sales information, trends, costs, and future transactions. Additionally, the Supply Chain Manager oversees and administers site/building operations to ensure the comfort, safety and reliability for associates.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree. Current experience in operations and supply chain management. In-depth understanding of operational functions including accounting/finance, supply chain/inventory management, quality, manufacturing, customs and human resources. Experience with ERP.
