This growth has opened a position for a Safety Manager to oversee the development, implementation and ongoing management of health and safety programs for multiple facilities
What you will do: This role will direct accident investigation programs, recommend new approaches to safety and loss prevention to mitigate risk, manage the Contractor Safety Program, maintain administrative control of required records for EHS programs ensuring proper reporting and compliance, and manage the worker compensation program. This role will also educate, train and support facility leadership, including training managers and supervisors on safety topics and responsibilities.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree NO Exception. 5 years related experience. Certifications in OSHA 501 Occupational Safety and Health Standards, HazMat, GMP and Instructor Certification in 29 CFR 1910 are preferred
