Syracuse, New York – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with an international supplier of raw materials and electronics to the manufacturing industry. Due to recent growth, the company has opened a position for a Product Safety Manager.
What you will do: The Product Safety Manager is responsible for ensuring that all products comply with standards for safety. The role owns/maintains technical safety concepts and related documentation, reviews/assesses customer requirements for relevant safety implications and feasibility, and owns/maintains safety-related fault analyses across electrical and electronics hardware and embedded software. The position works closely with internal and external engineering teams, suppliers, and customer to ensure coordinated safety compliance from specifications to design to production, while also leading system safety design reviews. Additionally, the Product Safety Manager maintains/enhances design guides to capture lessons learned and continuous improvement and delivers the system safety plans and reports in a timely manner.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Experience in product safety engineering. Experience with cooling technologies is a plus.
