Manufacturing Process Engineer


Shelbyville, Indiana – Movement Search & Delivery   is working with a supplier of glass and glazing systems to the automotive and building sectors. Due to their recent growth, the company has opened a position for a Process Engineer.

What you will do: The Process Engineer defines opportunities relating to product/process systems and implements improvement programs to eradicate problems, initiates studies and actions to overcome quality and safety opportunities, and assists in the development of new products, processes, and systems. The position is responsible for setting up process capability measurement and training team members in statistical process control (SPC), training team members in standard operating procedures (SOP’s), problem solving, total quality techniques (5S and TPM), and ensuring regular audits for the maintenance of such procedures.

What you will need: Bachelors Degree in Engineering. Experience in process engineering. Engineering experience supporting a manufacturing facility. Knowledge of and ability to use SPC, process measurement tools, and quality monitoring devices. Six Sigma black belt or greenbelt certification preferred. Knowledge of tooling concepts/robotics glass fabrication experience. Five years of technical support in related field. Knowledge of AutoCAD.
