Crawfordsville, Indiana – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com    is working with a growing, multi-billion dollar manufacturing client with headquarters in Atlanta. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Process Engineer.

What you will do: The Process Engineer is responsible for process development/improvement of electronic products including SMT (surface mount technology), wave soldering, conformal coating PCB (printed circuit board) and final assembly. The position is responsible for the development and integration of new electronic technologies for lighting applications, the creation of new SMT programs, and the reflow/wave profiling for all the new products, for LED light engines and LED drivers. The role keeps current with new LED technologies including LEDs, drivers, and thermal management materials, while defining new processes and helping to improve the current process to keep them controlled. Additionally, the Process Engineer supports the product development group with the integration of electronic HID ballasts and controls for luminaires and creates and improves conformal coating programs.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Experience in evaluation and testing of various electronic products for lighting applications, including LEDs, LED drivers, magnetic and electronic HID ballasts/lamps, magnetic and electronic fluorescent ballasts/lamps, electronic controls. Magnetic and electronic ballast design experience. Component design experience.
