Des Moines, Iowa – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a world class supplier of products to a myriad of industries within manufacturing. Due to recent growth, the company has opened a position for a Maintenance Technician.
What you will do: The Maintenance Technician repairs all machinery related to manufacturing including but not limited to: injection/compression molding machines, stamping presses, auxiliary equipment, robots, and fabrication and assembly machines. The role diagnoses mechanical problems and determines how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, and parts catalogs, while also assembling/installing/repairing wiring, electrical and electronic components, pipe systems and plumbing, machinery, and equipment. The position performs preventative maintenance tasks and safety inspections and supports all building/facility requirements.
What you will need: Current experience in maintenance. Experience troubleshooting, replacing and programing PLC’s and perform more complex wiring. Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic principals. Ability to understand MRP system to order spare parts or related items.
