Manufacturing Maintenance Manager

Tulsa, Oklahoma – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with an international provider of consumer and industrial products to highlight a Manufacturing Maintenance Manager to fill their newly opened role.

What you will do: The Manufacturing Maintenance Manager leads the fabrication and tooling organization consisting of hourly production technicians, tooling engineers, production supervisors, skilled tradesmen, and fabrication process engineers, while also providing direction and guidance for a two shift production department and the weekend shift preventative maintenance team. The position coordinates activities to support engineering projects and manufacturing needs, selects, coaches and develops employees in the press and tooling organization, and maintains a dependable and dedicated workforce through open communications and the ability to drive and sustain change. The role manages department budget and expenditures, drives continuous improvement utilizing lean manufacturing tools, and manages/schedules the fabrication department using a Kanban replenishment system. Additionally, the Manufacturing Maintenance Manager is responsible for the efficient operation of 56 presses ranging in capacity from 150 T to 800 T, using over 300 different die combinations, hydraulic press lines, and over 30 robotic processes.

What you will need: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Current experience in manufacturing management. Understanding of capital, tooling and expense budgeting. Understanding of lean manufacturing tools and TPM. Six Sigma Black Belt certification, a strong plus.
