Manufacturing Human Resources Manager

Carol Stream, Illinois Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com   is working with a growing Fortune 1000 manufacturing company. Due to their growth, the company has a newly opened position for a Senior Human Resources Manager.

What you will do: The Senior Human Resources Manager will support all levels of the plant manufacturing processes.  This will include working with hourly manufacturing associates, salaried employees and upper management.  This is both a functional and strategic role with a high level of involvement with a well- established union.  The role will be responsible for  employee relations, performance management, safety, benefits administration, recruitment and retention, new employee orientation and on-boarding.  The Sr. HR Generalist will partner with leaders, manage the day-to-day functions, be very hands-on but also support the execution of strategic plans, programs and initiatives.  

What you will need: Completed 4 year degree, preferably in Human Resources.  Current experience in an HR Generalist capacity with an advanced manufacturing or highly engineered product line.  Experience supporting both plant level employee relations and strategic management.  Quantifiable experience working with a well established union.  Multi-facility experience is a plus.
