Manufacturing Engineer I

Wapakoneta, Ohio – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com    is working with a company that fully designs, manufactures and distributes moving equipment for all types of manufacturing.  Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Manufacturing Engineer – Paint.

What you will do: The Manufacturing Engineer – Paint develops/expands manufacturing capabilities on a worldwide basis. The position provides manufacturing expertise in the areas of powder coat paint, wet paint, wash systems, automation systems, new system installations, shot blasting, chrome plating, and environmental aspects for all global regions, while also highlighting future-state conditions within manufacturing processes. The role develops detailed business cases for new manufacturing processes, presents them to the leadership team, and leads cross-functional teams in all aspects of projects including research, capital request, project planning, and manufacturing implementation.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current experience in manufacturing engineering. Surface finish technology experience with manufacturing applications. Knowledge of complete paint manufacturing systems including shot blasting, conveyor systems, part loading, application, curing, cooling, and performance specifications and testing. Knowledge of safety systems related to shot blasting and fume extraction. Knowledge of plating and related metal coating processes.
