Manufacturing Engineer – Continuous Improvement

Indianapolis, Indiana – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with a national supplier of heavy truck products and accessories. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a position for a Manufacturing Engineer.

What you will do: The Manufacturing Engineer designs, develops, sources and cost-justifies tools, fixtures, and machinery, leads implementation of new processes and or equipment, and optimizes employee production and material efficiency through continuous improvement. The role supports manufacturing production teams to improve efficiency and resolve issues, analyzes existing operations and proposes cost justified improvements. The position evaluates and designs ergonomic workstations, manages the documentation standards for automated machine tools, and establishes best practices for setup and programming of machine tools. Additionally, the Manufacturing Engineer optimizes use of floor space, materials, personnel, and equipment and initiates, plans, executes, and controls strategic projects to accomplish operational strategic goals.

What you will need: BS degree in Engineering. Current experience in continuous improvement and automation. Experience in manufacturing engineering role.
