Our client is a world leader in their product lines and this facility is over 100,000 sq/ft and growing. Due to this expansion, they have a newly created position for an industrial Manufacturing Engineer.
What you will do: Manufacturing Engineer with primary responsibilities to lead daily and continuous improvement activities for injection molding while supporting product development projects and manufacturing, This role will focus on optimization and development of new molds and machines and creating DOE’s to achieve the most precise process parameters. This role will maintain, update and create new PFMEAs for Injection molding. while leading the Process Technicians and mold setup personnel. This position develops injection molding process control parameters, identifies and establishes inspection procedures and escalation protocols for operators. Identify and implement statistical controls to establish and maintain process capabilities across strategic manufacturing equipment. Develop molding processes and parameters for new and improved products to maximize quality and production.
What you need: Bachelor’s degree engineering. any flavor will do. Current experience with manufacturing engineering in a high volume facility, automotive would be a huge plus.
