Manufacturing Engineer

Indianapolis, Indiana – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs    is working with a leading tier one automotive supplier.  Due to their growth, they have a newly opened position for a Manufacturing Engineer, west of Indianapolis 

What you will do: The Manufacturing Engineer implements projects to improve manufacturing processes, material flow, throughput and productivity. The role identifies/drives labor and burden cost savings projects, assists in developing new manufacturing processes and launching new product lines, and specifies, quotes, justifies and acquires new capital equipment. The position initiates facility upgrades to improve operational costs, develops positive working relationships with both internal and external customers, and manages project timelines and budgets.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current experience in manufacturing engineering. Experience in process improvement and production process design. Experience with justifying and implementing capital projects. CAD experience. Experience in automotive component manufacturing. Experience in automation. PLC programming (Allen Bradley) experience.
