Anderson, South Carolina – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a global Tier One supplier to the automotive industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly opened position for a Manufacturing Engineer west of Anderson.
What you will do: The Manufacturing Engineer works with various products, equipment and disciplines to increase production, quality, efficiency, volume and / or environmental suitability, while also coordinating/applying basic engineering data using established and appropriate or defined engineering principles and procedures. The role works on less complex and routine assignments to develop skills and demonstrate technical judgment, reviews/implements specification revisions, and performs such individual assignments as supervisors and superiors may direct. The position ensures adequate and continuous control procedures are exercised over all assigned activities affecting quality, establishes/maintains effective work relationships with internal and external customers, and maintains the professional competence, knowledge and skill necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities.
What you will need: Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Current experience in manufacturing engineering within the automotive industry.Experience in continuous improvement.
