Salem, Illinois – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com   is working with a manufacturing company supplying to transportation services. Due to recent growth, the company has opened a position for an Electrical Engineer.

What you will do: The Electrical Engineer supports the development of new product by designing, developing, testing, and performing evaluations of automotive electronic products, creates custom electrical/electronic designs. The position uses risk reduction tools to perform simulations, uses knowledge of material costs and costing processes to determine the impact on designs, and designs for maximum cost effectiveness while meeting all customer performance requirements. The role lays out electrical/mechanical components in equipment assemblies, while also being responsible for bill of material.  Additionally, the Electrical Engineer supports to Finite Element Analysis (FEA), handles customer and supplier documentation, and assists in problem solving activities.

What you will need: Bachelor’s degree or greater in engineering. Current experience in mechanical engineering. Professional experience in engineering. Experience in 3D CAD software. Experience with Autodesk Inventor is a plus.
