Syracuse, New York – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a leading manufacturer of capital equipment for both industrial and consumer use. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a new position for an Engineering Manager.
What you will do: The Controls Manager develops the global standards for control architecture design and requirements management, establishes methodologies, and implements those methodologies across the global organization. The role establishes standard work including libraries of control algorithms, procedures to automatically generate embedded code from models and best practices that can be leveraged across multiple projects, while also developing standard model-based verification tools and infrastructure including model-in-the-loop, software-in-the-loop, and hardware-in-the-loop. Additionally, the position assesses current team with regards to capabilities in utilizing model based design techniques and develop plans to cover the gaps and ensure the team is positioned for the future.
What you will need: Master’s degree in Engineering. Embedded hardware and software architecture experience. Systems Engineering experience. Supervision of C and C++ Embedded Application Programming. Work experience in leading Software, Hardware or Systems teams.
