Manufacturers Representative Drives/Motors

Pittsburgh, PA – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs    is working with a leading project integrator of automation solutions including AC/DC drives & motors, robotics, PLC, SCADA, power distribution and other motion specific component packages and systems in both low and medium voltage applications.  Due to their growth, there is a newly created position for Territory Sales Representative that will cover a three-state territory.

What you will do:  The Outside Sales Representative will promote the company’s products throughout a 3-state territory in the Central Region based out of Pittsburgh, PA area. You would be selling to End Users, OEMs, Integrators, Distributors and machine builders in this region.  This role will maintain and advance existing business and develop new accounts within the region. 

What you will need: Previous outside sales experience in a 100% commission environment, preferably with multi-state territory preferred. This is not an entry level position. We are looking for a proven performer to help take this region to the next level.  We are open to conversations with channel partners and rep agencies’ in our target markets. 4-year degree preferred but not required  3-5 years of Outside Sales Experience, multi-state territory experience required. (Pittsburgh, PA; Columbus, Ohio; Cleveland, Ohio; Philadelphia, PA; Washington, DC or surrounding area) Technical Sales experience within automation and electrical power. Electrical/mechanical aptitude required. Controls and/or electromechanical experience desirable Experience selling Engineering services, Field services, Engineered products, or Contract manufacturing.  Experience selling Industrial and Water Solutions.  Experienced in Technical sales position providing automation.   Experienced with Rockwell Automation, ABB, Schneider and Eaton related products
