Manager of Axle Steering and Suspension

Florence, Kentucky – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with an international, tier-one automotive supplier to highlight a Manager of Axle Steering and Suspension to fill a newly created role.

What you will do: The Manager of Axle Steering and Suspension owns the development and management of product portfolios, leads direct and cross-functional teams to innovate and grow the current product lines, and launches new product lines that complement our current portfolio and capabilities as an organization. The role works through the product management organization to achieve savings targets, segments the market, develops strategies to achieve growth across product lines, and develops/executes strategies to achieve business sales and growth projections. The position analyzes/evaluates competitive market trends to support the AOP and BSR plans, develops/manages product line budgets and expenses, and measures effectiveness of initiatives to provide on-going research and analysis. Additionally, the Manager of Axle Steering and Suspension provides primary pricing strategy/market analysis to ensure competitive position and accuracy, works across the marketing department on various initiatives, and assists with the elimination of excess and surplus inventories.

What you will need: Bachelor Degree in Engineering. Current experience in engineering management. Advanced experience with axles, steering, or suspension. Product line management experience. Aftermarket division experience. Ability to travel up to 25% in North America.
