Fort Wayne, Indiana – Movement Search and Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with an international supplier to the automotive industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Maintenance Technician in eastern Fort Wayne.
What you will do: The Maintenance Technician maintains all equipment and facilities, performs all PM checks and procedures as scheduled, and assists with set up and change over’s. The role provides machine repair and die change over, performs machining tasks, such as grinding, turning and milling, and troubleshoots/resolves problems. The position carries out procedures of the preventative maintenance program and schedules time, material and equipment required to perform the job.
What you will need: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Experience in repair of production equipment and machining. Experience with mechanical maintenance. Experience in preventative and reactive maintenance. Journeyman’s certification is a plus.
