Somerset, Kentucky – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a leading manufacturer of tier-two automotive components. Due to recent growth, they have opened a position for a Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift), west of Somerset.
What you will do: The Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift) trains others in use of equipment and presses, participates in technical training and machine/equipment buy-off, and responds promptly to production breakdowns. The role performs preventative maintenance on all equipment per PM system, orders and maintains spare parts and inventory, and sets up maintenance appointments. The position installs new equipment and infrastructure for product launches, maintains current infrastructure (floors, safety systems, A/C, heating, etc.), and assists production with troubleshooting part quality problems. Additionally, the Maintenance Technician (3rd Shift) complies with all safety requirements, completes required checks to ensure environmental compliance, and maintains equipment to ensure pollution (water, air emissions, oil leaks, etc.) is minimized.
What you will need: Associates Degree preferred. Current electrical/mechanical maintenance experience. PLC programming and electrical troubleshooting experience is a PLUS.
