Maintenance Supervisor

Louisville, Kentucky – Movement Search and Delivery   is working with a national supplier of building materials. Due to recent growth within the organization, they have opened a position for a Maintenance Supervisor.

What you will do: The Maintenance Supervisor supervises a production crew of 20-25 hourly, union millwrights for the effective and efficient operation of the plant . The role facilitates team meetings to discuss issues and develop solutions and action plans, supervises/direct the production employees, ensures that crews are ready for work at the designated time, and manages attendance, pay, and time-keeping. The position participates in root-cause analyses, administers company policies and procedures, conducts supervisor toolbox talks, and communicates plant requirements, while also supervising improvements in work methods and procedures.

What you will need: High School diploma. Current experience in an equipment  maintenance management role. Current experience in heavy industry such as steel, aggregates, pulp/paper or similar.  Experience managing in a union environment is a huge plus.
