Maintenance Manager - Manufacturing

Huntington, West Virginia – Movement Search & Delivery    movementsearch.com     is working with a growing manufacturing facility that is part of a global conglomerate.  Our client is a world leader in their product lines and this facility is over 100,000 sq/ft and growing.  Due to this expansion, they have a newly created position for an Maintenance Manager.

What you will do: The Maintenance Manager will manage, plan, organize, lead and direct maintenance personnel optimize equipment effectiveness, ensure plant safety and maintain plant facilities.  This position establishes preventative and predictive maintenance programs while assigning tasks/work orders to a 7-10 person maintenance team that is focused on continuous improvement.  This role will design and implements total productive maintenance program site-wide while tracking OEE metrics.  Reducing unplanned failures on production and facility equipment.  Provides leadership for the maintenance department team of 8. Responsible for installation and maintenance of machinery, equipment, Fanuc robots, conveyor systems and assembly machines / equipment.  Managing building maintenance / expansion projects.  Schedules and performs preventative maintenance checks and keeps related records.

What you will need: Current experience in a maintenance role with manufacturing machining equipment. Current experience in industrial maintenance in a manufacturing plant.  Previous maintenance supervision and or project management experience.  HANDS ON Experience in mechanical, pneumatics and electrical repair.  Automotive Tier 1 / OEM experience is a plus.   Experience with PLCs / robotics is a plus
