Maintenance Manager

Salisbury, Maryland – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with a leading manufacturer of metal products. Due to recent growth within the company, they have opened a new position for a Maintenance Manager.

What you will do: The Maintenance Manager analyzes and plans work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow, and designs layout of equipment and work-space for maximum efficiency. The role ensures compliance with industrial health, safety and environmental initiatives, confers with vendors to determine product specifications and arrange for purchase of equipment, materials, or parts, and evaluates products according to risk mitigation, specifications, costing, and quality standards. The position estimates staffing requirements and related costs to provide information for management decisions, generates, updates, analyzes, and completes project or equipment documentation and deliverables to ensure the realization of project equipment value objectives and confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities. Additionally, the Maintenance Manager applies theoretical methods to estimate future maintenance requirements, drives maintenance management through use of a computerized maintenance management systems, reviews and analyzes the execution of the maintenance plans and performance metrics, and possesses the ability to oversee hazardous and nonhazardous items.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current maintenance management experience. Project management experience. Experience with preventative and reactive maintenance. Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
