Chicago, Illinois – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with an international supplier of medical device products and due to their recent growth, they have opened a position for a Machine Champion, north of Chicago.
What you will do: The Machine Champion is the technical expert and “owner” of the machines in the sustaining team. The role gains in-depth expertise on the machine through extensive hands-on training on site at the automation supplier, participates in design reviews, DQ(Design Qualification), PFMEA, and executes FAT, SAT, IQ, and OQ tests. The position participates in PQ, drafts SOP’s for machine operation and maintenance activities, and builds strong shift technician team. Additionally, the Machine Champion provides day-to-day production support, diagnoses machine problems and directs repair activities, while also supervising preventative maintenance activities.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current experience managing machine operation across a plant. High-speed automation experience with medical device experience preferred.
