M&A Integration Manager

Chicago, Illinois – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com   is working with a growing multi-national manufacturing company.  Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for an Operations Integration Manager that will focus on Mergers and Acquisitions.

What you will do: This role will focus on operations/process optimization while building out a world class operations integration system. In this role you will work close with the mergers and acquisition team and conduct due diligence on potential company acquisitions.  This role will perform operational integration, global lean six sigma execution and due diligence and system roll outs to help define and build a brand new structure.   This position is responsible for identifying operations improvement opportunities during due diligence and developing plans to achieve savings as a percent of revenue.  This role  is responsible for developing operations due diligence/opportunity assessment process for new acquisitions allowing including  on-site due diligence
assessment of potential acquisitions to identify areas where operations can be improved and identifying improvements in terms of savings.  This role will have a strategic responsibility for developing both short and long term plans  to achieve operations savings through acquisitions.   Oversee the operations integration to ensure that milestones are met and any barriers are identified and appropriately resolved.  This role will be tasked with driving excellence and improvements with Lean in terms of Value Stream Mapping and process pull in end to end processes.

What you will need: Completed 4 year degree as a minimum with a masters degree highly preferred.  Recent experience in the M&A space with process and leading multi-site improvement efforts and projects .  Experience with leading improvement opportunity assessments or due diligence assessments.  All of this experience within manufacturing.   Wide range of manufacturing experience including viable time in an operations.
