Beloit, Wisconsin – Movement Search and Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a manufacturer of petroleum based products and due to their recent growth, they are searching for a Product Engineer.
What you will do: The Product Manager builds close working relationships with customers account teams while maximizing profitability across a portfolio of leading products. The role is responsible for creation and management of assigned product lines, including preliminary forecasting, pricing, and key features/benefits, while also coordinating development of the product lines in support of product positioning, placement and functionality. The position manages the overall product life cycle for each product, analyzes the business needs and identifies effective solutions, and analyzes market trends and predicts business impact. Additionally, the Product Engineer participates in the development and maintenance of the business plan, develops, maintains, implements and communicates on innovative and realistic product line plans, and applies market knowledge to help customers grow their business.
What you will need: Bachelor’s degree in a chemistry or engineering related discipline. Experience in product line management. Knowledge of OEM’s, customers, competitors and the global market, as well as an understanding of commercial and marketing skills such as product positioning, strategic and value pricing.
