Clarkston, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working a leading automotive logistics company. Due to recent growth within the company, they have a opened a position for a Logistics Manager.
What you will do: The Logistics Manager plans/coordinates transportation of materials, manages the timely flow of customer orders, and is responsible for material flow and packaging material flow. The role provides/maintains good customer service and problem-solving, communicates with customers, and is responsible for supplier scorecard. The position reviews master data in ERP system, maintains warehouse structure/optimal warehouse capacity, and establishes, defines, implements, and continuously improves processes and standards. Additionally, the Logistics Manager trains, supervises, and disciplines a team of employees, cooperates with headquarters in Germany, and is responsible for KPIs.
What you will need: Associate’s Degree. Experience in logistics management. Experience in the automotive industry. Knowledge of Supply Chain Management. Experiences in warehousing, shipping, receiving and inventory control. Experience of scheduling/forecasting and EDI, preferably ISO 9001/TS 16949.
