Davenport, Iowa – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a world leader in their respective manufacturing space. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Supply Chain Manager focusing on Plant Logistics north of Davenport.
What you will do: The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for all plant logistics (internal and external), both daily operations and optimization, to an evolving business. The role manages the team in charge of internal flows’ management, develops the supply chain team and raises the competency level, while also guaranteeing the efficiency of the Supply Chain processes for the site. The position participates in corporate supply chain projects, understands, develops, applies, and coaches employees on culture of market-based management, resolves customer complaints/issues (internal and external), and contributes to the S&OP process at the plant level. Additionally, the Supply Chain Manager plans production orders according to plant demand, plan and follow up, manages plant bottlenecks, anticipates risks, and manages crisis. There is NO purchasing responsibilities for this role
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree. Current experience in supply chain management in the manufacturing industry. Knowledgeable of the industrial sector in process manufacturing, specifically lean manufacturing.
