Somerset, Kentucky – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a leading manufacturer of tier-two automotive components. Due to recent growth, they have opened a position for a Lean Manufacturing Technician, west of Somerset.
What you will do: The The Lean Manufacturing Technician leads, participates in, and facilitates improvement projects, rapid improvement events, and “just do its.” The role also implements lean and layout optimization for the manufacturing floor footprint and assists with development and communication methodologies leading to continuous process improvement throughout the factory. The position manages factory project tracking systems to drive business results and communication and utilizes value stream mapping techniques to design optimal flow patterns for information, material, and production methods.
What you will need: Current experience with Kaizen and Six Sigma training and methodologies. Current project management experience. Current experience with TKT time-work methodology.
