Troy, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com    is working with an international supplier of raw materials and electronics to the manufacturing industry. Due to recent growth, the company has opened a position for a Lead Systems Engineer – Battery Management Systems.

What you will do: The Lead Systems Engineer – Battery Management Systems supervises a team of systems engineers, leads systems management database, and manages customer, internal, and legal requirements including identification, communication, traceability and compliance. The position manages application specific DFMEA’s (Design Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) and updates boundary diagrams. The role assists functional groups with the creation of DVP&R’s (Design Verification Plan and Report) based off requirements, works with suppliers to develop innovative products, and manages development and execution of test plans for high level design verification and manufacturing controls. Additionally, the Lead Systems Engineer – Battery Management Systems leads analyzing data to ensure customer expectations are met.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Current supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. Working experience with product development cycles. Experience with batteries, battery management systems (BMS), power electronics, or other energy systems is desirable.
