Plymouth, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a large manufacturer of automotive components to highlights candidates to fill their newly opened Lead Product Engineer role.
What you will do: The Lead Product Engineer has full and complete responsibility for all aspects of the successful design, development, testing validation and support of manufacturing launch for product/project. The role provides front-line customer engineering interface for product/project, supports technical leadership, provides resolution to customer technical issues, and supports project direction to designers, engineers and support personnel. The position identifies the resource requirements to meet program/product objectives, supports the program/product engineering budget, and supports technical design reviews monthly/as necessary. Additionally, the Lead Product Engineer provides input to the technical design review report, executes robust design/design changes, leads root cause analysis, and supports the program/product team in resolving customer technical issues.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current experience in product engineering within automotive. Experience with full seating systems.
