Benton Harbor, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com   is working with an industry leader in the consumer products industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Product Development Engineer.

What you will do:  The Product Development Engineer evaluates potential new tools, evaluates and implements new training techniques, and works to embed the lean product development practices. The role develops a sustainable network of lean product development champions, works through global and regional integrators to implement lean development for new projects, and works with electronics group and coordinates reliability with them. The position develops global network of lean product development masters, coaches engineers in lean product development practices, and consults with project requests for support and implementation of lean practices. Additionally, the Lean Lead Process Product Development Engineer provides exchange of “Best Practices” through monthly reliability forums, topic specific training sessions for example, DVPR, Cadence Planning, etc, and updates on changes to the field of lean product development.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Current experience in manufacturing engineering. Experience with consumer products. Experience with FMEAs. Experience with product development processes. Experience with accelerated testing methodologies. Experience with hands on reliability testing.
