Novi, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a three-billion dollar per year, global manufacturing company. Due to their growth, the company has a newly created position for a Lead Business Analyst.
What you will do: The Lead Business Analyst – Sales and Distribution has responsibility for building and maintaining a trusted partnership with the Corporate/Divisional SD teams, providing thought leadership and applied technical expertise in the selection, process and solution design, deployment and prioritization of global business solutions in the respective application portfolio. The role serves as primary relationship and portfolio manager for Corporate/Divisional SD functions, participates in identifying information problems and defining solutions for management approval, and bridges business needs with technical solutions to solve business challenges. The position coordinates any new requirements with development, infrastructure, and other teams to deliver requirements and ensures functional acceptance of the estimate and design and develops/maintains relevant system and process documentation for existing and proposed processes. Additionally, the Lead Business Analyst prepares functional design documents for the Development Department, tests ERP configuration to ensure the system is meeting corporate needs, and leads effort, with business and IT leaders, to understand related strategy, objectives and business needs.
What you will need: Bachelor’s degree in an IT. Relevant SAP sales and distribution experience. Demonstrated understanding of design and configuration in SAP SD. Experience with SAP ECC 5.0 or 6.0. Knowledge of SD module integration points with other SAP modules. xperience with EDI and knowledge of specific Customer in Bound and Out Bound EDI. Experience with Sales Scheduling Agreements and EDI. Experience using/sending data to or reporting from SAP BIW. Previous plant logistics experience. Experience with Global SAP implementation strategies and processes. Experience in MM areas and FSC.
