Lab Engineer - Climate Control

Northville, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery  www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with a world-class supplier of products to a myriad of industries within manufacturing. Due to recent growth, the company has opened a position for an Electronics Lab Engineer.

What you will do: The Electronics Lab Engineer assists in the calibration of internal test equipment, ensures appropriate scheduling and distribution of electronics testing workload, and supports test lab technicians and test technologist with electronics training. The role develops/defines new test procedures, analyzes test results and provide feedback, and recommends, designs and builds new test equipment as required for performing tests. The position is responsible for performing tests per submitted requests and customer instructions, approves test reports, and operates lab equipment and instruments following established procedures. Additionally, the Electronics Lab Engineer monitors inventory levels and orders materials and supplies, provides opinions and interpretations of test data when required, and establishes test timelines and equipment limitations.

What you will need: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Current experience in automotive manufacturing. Electronics test lab experience.
