Holland, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a leading Tier-one supplier to the automotive industry. Due to their recent growth, the company has a newly created position for a Junior Project Manager.
What you will do: The Junior Project Manager is responsible for the planning, controlling and execution of specific work packages in the projects (global/local)ensuring that technical customer requirements and technical target achievements with respect to timing, quality, and costs are met. The role plans complex manufacturing processes including production capacities and layouts, creates performance descriptions for equipment, and creates an optimal process chain of specific technologies to ensure customer requirements for minimal production costs. The position implements new innovative processes into projects, ensures the documentation of projects, and supports the standardization and development of a knowledge database, project implementation in plants, definition of project budgets, and the development of competitive quotations. Additionally, the Junior Project Manager creates tooling and equipment list including prices and timing, participates in final approval and technical release of the production and test equipment, and develops new manufacturing processes.
What you will need: Current experience in automotive manufacturing. Experience in project management. Welding knowledge.
