Novi, Michigan- Movement Search and Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with an international supplier to the automotive industry. Our client is a major Tier One for German automotive company. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for an IT Specialist.
What you will do: The IT Specialist troubleshoots end-user problems, as well as system and programming faults, troubleshoots current network infrastructure, supports IT-ticket hotline, and manages backup systems. The role provides technical assistance, supporting incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, and hardware, responds to queries either in person or over the phone, and issues new user security access to certain network drives. The position provides company cell phone assistance (including blackberry and IPhone) to end users, creates purchase requisitions for equipment/service needs, determines priority of open issues including End User requests, and decides which vendor/service provider to use for purchasing equipment/services. Additionally, the IT Specialist develops solutions for improving new and existing systems and supports/maintains SCCM Software/OS Development system.
What you will need: Associates or bachelor’s degree. Experience of technical support in IT function. Previous Server Administration and Desktop Support experience. MCSE (Microsoft Certified System Engineer), MCSA (Microsoft Certified System Administrator), or CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) preferred. Experienced in Network infrastructure, networking hardware devices, networking software. Experienced in managing, installing and final setup of Windows server systems and End-User equipment like PC, workstations and phone system. Ability to travel up to 30%, domestic and international.
