Livonia, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a growing IT systems company. Due to their recent growth, the company has opened a position for a Web Engineer.
What you will do: The Web Engineer is a self directed software engineer with strong web development experience, working alongside an elite team of engineers solving complex interactive challenges on the web. The role is responsible for the entire lifecycle of interactive projects on both web and mobile platforms, turning business requirements into technical specifications. The position makes architectural decisions and configues hardware, while also directing efforts of team members working alongside on the code. Additionally, the Web Engineer pushes new technologies to aid in new design.
What you will need: Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science. Microsoft Certified Developer. Fluency in implementing Microsoft .NET solutions using C# and/or VB.NET. Experience with Visual Studio 2008+. Strong OO background and experience. Experience building websites. Content management systems experience. Experience with SQL Server 2005/2008 including relational database design. Experience with integrating third party applications such as Google Maps, Facebook. Knowledge of Java, CSS2 are a plus.
