Port Huron, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a national supplier of the tier-one automotive industry. Due to recent growth, the company has recently opened a position for an IT Manager.
What you will do: The IT Manager supports installation and management of Epicor ERP system, manages software interface to support MES, including scheduling, production reporting, and labeling (traceability), and serves as a main point of contact with technical challenges or upgrades. The role is responsible for ERP uptime, manages and supports EDI, reports writing using SSRS, documents management utilizing SharePoint software, ensures scheduled and automated processes occur on time to completion, and is responsible for network uptime. The position maintains startup procedure after power failure, ensures security and restriction to files, maintains system backup and restoration of files, and is the lead contact for PC support activities. Additionally, the IT Manager is responsible for servers, APC battery backups, switches, routers, cabling, WAP’s, PC’s, Monitors, Printers, Scanners, and Copiers, manages quoting, purchasing, installation, and spare parts inventory, manages installation of new phones, software, hardware, and maintains and supports time clocks as the main contact until they are phased out.
What you will need: Experience with ERP Software implementation and administration, SQL database programming and administration, and project management. EDI experience. Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Adobe, AutoCad, BarTender barcode label software, Solidworks, Datalyzer, Minitab, Barracuda, GFI Mail Archiver, SharePoint, Symantec, VMWare, Visio. Automotive industry experience. Familiar with building redundancy into the system so IT doesn’t stop production. Availability 24 hours per day in the event of outage. Experience implementing an MRP system.
