Lansing, Michigan – Movement Search and Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a growing, diversified, publicly traded 40-year-old company that is a leading supplier to the commercial automotive industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Director of IT, southwest of Lansing.
What you will do: The Director of IT documents, measures, and continuously improves IT processes, monitors/measures performance of technology assets, and ensures the security of data and information pertaining to the organization. The position develops/manages technology budget, maintains IT infrastructure, manages vendor relationships, develops and enforces IT policies, and supervises IT people, budget and direction. The role determines where new development is required versus implementing packaged solutions, eliminates redundancies, and reduces cost. Additionally, the Director of IT builds and trains a robust IT team, implements continuous improvement, and drives technological integration.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in IT or Computer Software. Strong leadership experience in IT within the automotive industry. Experience in new IT implementation. Experience with ERP implementation and cyber security. Specialty vehicle experience.
