Benton Harbor, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with an industry leader in the consumer products industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for an Innovation Manager.
What you will do: The Innovation Manager structures and leads formal and informal innovation meetings, contributes to new ideas and concepts, facilitates and captures output, and builds innovation capabilities across the organization and scale processes, tools, and skills. The role identifies opportunities and needs for innovation projects through consumer exploration, consumer needs analysis, and new trends scouting, defines size (e.g. potential revenues, margins, share involved) and feasibility of the opportunity, and performs comparative analysis, while also conducting internal/external interviews and ethnographic analysis. The position performs rigorous and accurate quantitative/qualitative analyses, manages follow-ups and next steps, and creates full documents (e.g., PPT, DOC) for presentations or meetings. Additionally, the Innovation Manager manages the collection of material/documents from multiple sources, builds fact base for key decisions, and supports/enables decision making.
What you will need: BS in Engineering or Business. Current experience in manufacturing consumer products. Experience in product development. Ability to travel internationally.
