Lansing, Michigan – Movement Search and Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a growing, diversified, publicly traded 40-year-old company that is a leading supplier to the commercial automotive industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for an Information Security Specialist, southwest of Lansing.
What you will do: The Information Security Specialist participates in threat hunting activities, is a member of the Cyber Incident Response Team, leads/participates in projects to reduce risk and achieves/maintains compliance with regulations and standards. The role monitors security devices, network devices, network traffic and servers for Indicators of Compromise, evaluates/responds to Information Security incidents, and keeps current with the threat environment. The position authors, edits, manages, and enforces information security policies, standards, processes, assesses/reports weaknesses in applications, and assesses/reports any weakness or gaps in security devices or environment. Additionally, the Information Security Specialist assists with achieving and maintaining compliance with regulations and standards, leads/participates in meetings, and develops/delivers presentations.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security. Current experience in information security for manufacturing. Experience with vulnerability assessment tools and techniques, security incident event management, and penetration testing/ethical hacking. Understanding of applicable data privacy practices and laws. Competence with testing tools and procedures for voice and data circuits.
