Industrial Application Manager

New Haven, Connecticut – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs    is working with growing client that services a myriad of industries with their products.  Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for an Application Manager.

What you will do: The Application Manager is responsible for capturing applications and client needs from a technological as well as business perspective. The role identifies regional market potentials of the individual application(s) and the competitive situation as a basis for the final consolidation by product marketing, defines the product development roadmap, and coordinates individual projects. The position delivers the content of go-to-market, campaigns and Sales Force guidance, provides application trainings, and is responsible for the application specific product portfolio and life cycle management. Additionally, the Application Manager leads the cross functional application team, e.g. Sales, R&D OTC, analyzes specific data, KPI’s and business drivers to provide timely and insightful understanding of the application specific business economics, results and trends, and prepares topics and presentations for or at management meetings.

What you will need: MBachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Knowledge of development principles. Experience in product management or technical sales management, preferably in an industrial application environment. Experience in the Plumbing and EETDA or CATV industry is a major plus.
