HVAC Marketing Manager

Dayton, Ohio – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com/jobs   is working with a leading manufacturer of electrical and mechanical motion control and power generation products serving markets throughout the world. Due to their recent growth, the company has opened a position for a Marketing Manager.

What you will do: The Marketing Manager provides customer feedback on products and delivering the product solutions and builds a high-performing team of application engineers that will interface daily with the customer. The role serves as a true player/coach to successfully deliver sales of existing and new products, implements strategies for profitable growth, and manages the product life cycle from new product introduction through product maturation continuously seeking opportunities for improvement. The position develops product pricing strategies and manages the daily activities of the assigned team to drive maximum profit and sales, while also driving the most complex and high-value products into the market at maximum profit and sales. Additionally, the Marketing Manager provides hiring, promotion and disciplinary action recommendations, as well as performance evaluation and feedback for direct reports and serves as a resource and partner with Sales during long-term contract negotiations.

What you will need: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business. Experience in new product tollgate process or equivalent. Experience in airflow, refrigeration, or HVAC industry. Knowledge of HVAC design/application, refrigerant cycle, heat exchangers. Experience in marketing and financial justification of a new product. Knowledge of Public Relations channels and social media in the B2B (Business to Business) world. Six Sigma Green Belt.
