Human Resources - Manufacturing

Hickory, North Carolina – Movement Search & Delivery   is working with an industry leader in the automotive supply industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Human Resources Manager, east of Hickory.

What you will do: The Human Resources Manager directs and coordinates the company’s human resources activities. The role is responsible for the planning, development and implementation of policies in support of employee relations, directing activities dealing with employment, training, records and benefits administration, wage and salary pay plans and compliance, and participation on the site management team. The position prepares/evaluates personnel policies, recommends new approaches, policies and procedures, and assures company compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelines, while also conducting periodic compensation studies to ensure competitiveness in industry as well as proper grading of positions. Additionally, the Human Resources Manager facilitates the performance management process and system, oversees employment recognition programs including service award program as well as community events, and prepares month end headcount and KPI reports, entering information in company systems including DCS and OBD.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or Industrial Relations. Experience as a Human Resource Generalist including prior management experience. Knowledge of HRIS systems. Current experience in manufacturing.
