Reno, Nevada – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com is working with a world leading manufacturing company. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Human Resources Manager.
What you will do: The Human Resources Manager performs related duties in the following functional areas: employee relations, training, employment, labor relations, worker’s compensation, payroll, safety compliance and HR administration. The position partners with employees and management to communicate various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations, works closely with plant management and supervision in resolving and coaching on employee performance or disciplinary issues and employee complaints, and provides training including new hire orientation and leadership development. The role works with plant management and corporate HR on hiring, lay-off and termination decisions, establishes plant recruiting, testing, and interviewing processes and programs, and assists management on candidate selection. Additionally, the Human Resources Manager updates job requirements and job descriptions for plant positions, maintains a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys, conducts job evaluations, and recommends pay structure revisions, while also administrating all aspects of payroll on a weekly basis for hourly group.
What you will need: Bachelors degree in Human Resources or Organizational Development. Advanced progressive human resources generalist experience with management level experience in a fast paced environment. HRIS/Payroll administration experience. Work experience in metal manufacturing, PHR or SPHR Certification, Spanish fluency preferred.
