New Boston, Michigan – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a leading supplier to the automotive industry. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Human Resources Generalist.
What you will do: The Human Resources Generalist provides guidance on the general functions of the company’s safety and health programs. The role evaluates work areas, work procedures, the working environment, accident/injury data and other aspects relating to safety and ergonomics, creates/implements action and training programs as they relate to continuous improvements, and implements programs to comply with regulations. The position makes recommendations for policies, safety and health related training programs and activities, provides training, and ensures investigations of spills, accidents, incidents and injuries, including “near misses.” Additionally, the HR Generalist leads the Health and Safety committee.
What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety Management or Human Resources. Current experience in human resources in the automotive industry. Understanding of Health and Safety laws.
