Riverside, California – Movement Search & Delivery www.movementsearch.com/jobs is working with a growing, multi-billion dollar manufacturing client. Due to their growth, they have a newly created position for a Human Resources Business Partner.
What you will do: The HR Business Partner implements strategic short and long term HR initiatives, consults with and advises management on a variety of HR and business related issues on both strategic and tactical levels, and builds/maintains effective working relationships with management and employees to provide advice and counsel to both on employee-related and organizational matters, serving as an employee advocate and as a coach to employees and leaders. The role leads key HR processes for site, including staffing, leadership development, salary planning, performance management, and labor/employee relations, leads identification, selection and retention of world-class talent, and develops/executes plans for talent acquisition, development and succession planning. The position drives human resource compliance and standardization, leads the function in a highly complex matrix environment, and directs employee programs designed to promote employee communications, while also optimizing organizational effectiveness and increasing employee engagement. Additionally, the HR Business Partner administers HR and Company policies and procedures to effectively manage labor and employee relations and achieve business goals, monitors performance management programs and provides support and guidance to managers/employees on performance issues and assessment tools.
What you will need: Bachelor’s degrees in HR. HR professional certifications: PHR or SPHR. Current experience in a matrixed, manufacturing company. Experience in a leadership/supervisory role with labor relation expertise.
