HR Director

Hagerstown, Maryland – Movement Search & Delivery    www.movementsearch.com/jobs    is working with an international, leading manufacturers for highly engineered products. Due to the company’s recent growth, they have opened a position for a Director of Human Resources.

What you will do: The Director of Human Resources provides direction for the successful execution of the organization mission, vision and strategic imperatives through the management and application of all human resource strategies, plans, policies, processes, systems and activities throughout the organization. The role directs all of the human resources functions including: the application of policy and employment procedures, employee relations, organized labor relations, performance review, talent management, succession planning, workforce effectiveness, organizational development, compensation and benefits, safety, training and development, legal compliance and employee records. The position drives the integration of cultural change necessary to achieve long term organizational objectives, serves as a member of the executive leadership team, and functions as the expert on people and organizational issues, serving as a trusted advisor and business partner to the management team, department leaders, and others. Additionally, the Director of Human Resources promotes innovative performance management models and protects the interest of the company and employees.

What you will need: Bachelor’s degree. SPHR/PHR certification preferred. MBA is a plus. Advanced human resources management experience. Experience working as a “business partner” managing multiple sites and developing new systems. Experience in a manufacturing environment. Generalist experience with a wide range of human resources programs.
