Heavy Equipment Sales Specialist

Seattle, Washington – Movement Search & Delivery   www.movementsearch.com   is working with a company that combines the research and development, design, and manufacturing assets from the industrial system and power electronic businesses. Due to their recent growth, the company has opened a position for a Sales Manager.

What you will do: The Sales Manager develops/implements commercial and technical strategies for current and potential clients in the crane systems industry segment on a rolling 18 month cycle to deliver orders budget. The position identifies/develops relationships with a network of purchase influencers within current and potential client organizations to bid for their new opportunities, solicits current and potential client needs, and communicates technical client needs to the development team to ensure integration of commercial offering with client expectations. The role communicates opportunity forecasts and sales plans to business unit and company management, ensures timely, accurate, and thorough creation and submission of commercial and technical proposals, and prepares/delivers presentations at technical conferences and meetings with clients, at client sites, while also leading contract negotiations. Additionally, the Sales Manager provides feedback of product and service deficiencies to appropriate management personnel for continuous improvement, reviews brochures for technical accuracy, provides technical guidance in the preparation, review, and final commercial proposal generation to clients, and tracks competitor’s offerings.

What you will need: Bachelor’s Degree. Current technical sales, technical customer service, or application engineering experience in a commercial environment. Experience in heavy equipment. Metals knowledge. Mandarin fluency. Ability to travel to China 6 months of the year. Experience with drive, control, and automation systems in the crane systems industry segment is preferred.  Mandarin Language Skills.
