Helpdesk Specialist I

San Carlos, California  – Movement Search & Delivery   is working with a leading provider of IT services. Due to their recent growth, the company has opened a position for a Helpdesk Analyst.

What you will do: The Helpdesk Analyst provides end user PC and basic application technical support, identifies, researches, and resolves technical problems, and responds to telephone calls, email and personnel requests for technical support. The role documents, tracks and monitors the problem to ensure a timely resolution, while also setting up of computers for onsite office personnel and for display purposes, computer and TV monitors, networks, troubleshoot printing problems, onsite session scanning, and onsite help desk support for an event.

What you will need: Current experience in IT service. Strong knowledge of MS Office suite applications. Strong knowledge of desktop and notebook configuration in a networked environment. Strong knowledge of the Microsoft operating system(s) (Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8). Functional knowledge of the Apple MAC operating system. Current desktop support experience. Knowledge of Microsoft Server operating systems, Lotus Notes, Microsoft Active Directory end-user administration, JD Edwards, Cisco IP Telephony.
